ATHENS —— The Georgia Bulldogs began Week 3 of the pre-season period with a 2-hour workout Monday in hot, sunny conditions at the Club Sports Complex on Milledge Avenue.
Georgia’s goals during preseason are twofold, according to sophomore receiver Terry Godwin: show improvement both individually and as a team, and he sees progress on both fronts. ‘’I feel like the whole team is getting better with every practice, not just me or the wide receivers,’’ he said. ‘’Our task is to come together, work hard and learn to play physical ball. In the team room, we’re just trying to be one, and I feel like we have talent everywhere: line, receiver, DB. We’re just looking forward to starting the season.’’
The Bulldogs will resume pre-season practices Tuesday as they work towards their second full-scale scrimmage this Saturday.
