Week 5 Recap


    Patriots 33, Redskins 7

    David Andrews, C: Andrews is on the Patriots’ injured reserve list for the season.

    Sony Michel, RB: Michel carried 16 times for 91 yards and a touchdown for New England. He hauled in three passes for 32 yards.

    Ben Watson, TE: After missing the first four games of the season due to suspension, Watson was not activated by the Patriots by a Monday deadline, making him a free agent.

    Isaiah Wynn, OL: Wynn is on New England’s injured reserve list with a toe injury. He will be eligible to return Nov. 17.


    Colts 19, Chiefs 13

    Justin Houston, DE: Houston had four tackles, including a sack and two tackles for loss, for the Colts.

    Mecole Hardman, WR: The Kansas City rookie had four catches for 79 yards, including a 31-yarder, and added a 22-yard kickoff return. Among NFL rookies, Hardman ranks first in punt return average (20.0), third in receiving touchdowns (two), and fifth in receiving yards (246) and kickoff return average (22.8).


    Bills 14, Titans 7

    Isaiah McKenzie, WR: McKenzie had two catches for 52 yards, including a 46-yarder, for the Bills.

    Ben Jones, OL: Jones logged all 62 offensive snaps at center and helped the Titans accumulate 252 total yards.

    D’Andre Walker, LB: Walker is on Tennessee’s injured reserve list for the season.


    Panthers 34, Jaguars 27

    Elijah Holyfield, RB: Holyfield is a member of the Panthers’ practice squad.

    Chris Conley, WR: Conley pulled in a 26-yard pass for the Jaguars.

    Abry Jones, DL: Jones posted two tackles for Jacksonville.

    Terry Godwin, WR: Godwin is a member of the Jaguars’ practice squad.


    Cardinals 26, Bengals 23

    Lamont Gaillard, OL: The Cardinals rookie was active for the first time this season but did not see any action.

    Geno Atkins, DL: Atkins had four tackles and a quarterback hit for the Bengals.

    Davin Bellamy, DE: Bellamy is a member of the Bengals’ practice squad.

    Cordy Glenn, OL: Glenn was on Cincinnati’s inactive list as he remains in concussion protocol.

    A.J. Green, WR: Green was on the Bengals’ inactive list due to an ankle injury.

    Shawn Williams, DB: Williams rolled up 12 tackles, including 10 solos, for Cincinnati.


    Seahawks 30, Rams 29

    Todd Gurley, RB: Gurley rushed 15 times for 51 yards and two touchdowns for the Rams. He caught three passes for six yards. Gurley stands fourth in the NFL with five rushing touchdowns.

    Natrez Patrick, LB: The Rams rookie logged 16 special teams snaps but did not have any stats.


    Vikings 28, Giants 10

    Deandre Baker, DB: The New York rookie had three tackles and defended one pass.

    Lorenzo Carter, LB: Carter was on the Giants’ inactive list with a neck injury.

    Alec Ogletree, LB: Ogletree was inactive for New York due to a hamstring injury.


    Raiders 24, Bears 21

    Leonard Floyd, LB: Floyd posted one tackle for the Bears.

    Riley Ridley, WR: The Chicago rookie was a healthy scratch.

    Roquan Smith, LB: Smith registered nine tackles for the Bears.

    Javon Wims, WR: Wims was targeted once but did not have any stats.


    Eagles 31, Jets 6

    Jordan Jenkins, LB: Jenkins was on the Jets’ inactive list due to a calf injury.


    Broncos 21, Chargers 13

    Thomas Davis, LB: Davis had three tackles for the Chargers.


    49ers 31, Browns 3

    Nick Chubb, RB: Chubb rushed for 87 yards, including a 37-yarder, on 16 carries for the Browns. He added a 12-yard reception. Chubb is ranked fourth in the league with 485 yards rushing and sixth with four rushing touchdowns.
