Georgia Captains:  Roquan Smith, Isaiah Wynn, and Sony Michel

Georgia won the coin toss and deferred to the second half.  Georgia will kickoff to start the game and defend the north end zone.

After forcing a 3 and out on Florida’s first offensive possession, the Georgia offense scored on a 53 yard TD drive.  The drive was capped off by a 6 yard TD run by Nick Chubb.  The drive was highlighted by a 39 yard reception by D’Andre Swift.

Dominick Sanders intercepted Gator quarterback Feleipe Franks on the Gators 2nd offensive possession.  Bulldogs take possession at the Gators 29.  Jake Fromm completes a 17 yard TD pass to Javon Wims.

Neither team was able to score in the 2nd quarter.  Florida had an 82 yard drive in the 2nd quarter (driving the ball down to Georgia’s 4 yard line) but was unable to convert a 4th and 2.

Fromm was 2-4 in the 1st half for 56 yards passing.  Michel led the Bulldogs with 96 yards rushing in the 1st half.

Georgia will receive the 2nd half kickoff.

After a Fromm interception and a turnover on downs by Florida, Georgia opens up the 2nd half scoring with a 45 yard rushing TD by Sony Michel.

Next the Bulldogs’ defense got in on the scoring, when J.R. Reed picked up a Feleipe Franks fumble and ran it in from 3 yards out.

Eliajah Holyfield busts a run to the left to score on a 39 yard TD scamper to put the Bulldogs up 42-0.

Florida scores a 1 yard rush TD with less than 3 minutes remaining to make the score 42-7.  The score by Florida extends Florida’s NCAA leading record of 368 games without being shutout.
