The Georgia Bulldogs will kick off the 2026 college football season at home against the Tennessee State Tigers on Saturday, September 5 at 3 p.m. ET on SEC Network+. The game will be played at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.

Georgia enters the 2026 season with big goals, looking to return to the College Football Playoff for a third consecutive year and capture their fourth SEC championship in five seasons. The Bulldogs open the year against two non-Power Four opponents before diving into SEC play in Week 3 against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

This season marks the first time in conference history that Georgia will play nine SEC games. The schedule includes four home games, four road games, and the annual neutral site matchup with Florida. However, the Florida game will be played in Atlanta this year due to ongoing stadium renovations in Jacksonville. Georgia closes out the regular season with a nonconference matchup against Georgia Tech before a potential SEC Championship game in Atlanta.
